The transfer process kicks off automatically on our end and progress is shown to the user. The Publishes section of the app will start filling up with their claims as they are updated from our wallet to the user's. Once complete, the pending state disappears and the channel will be shown as if it were created by the user themself. Any tips that the creator received will be sent to their channel as a lump sum that can be claimed or kept to support their discovery on the platform.

Publishing from the web is a bit trickier since the lbry.tv server will need to act as an intermediary between the user and the SDK running - so it needs to be able to handle/intercept the file transfer process. There were also some changes required to spee.ch in order to support thumbnail uploads. We currently have a prototype working and it should be ready for mainstream use in mid October. Initially, there will be a file size limit of 500mb when using LBRY.tv to upload. This will be adjusted after we monitor usage and performance.

Once this is ready, we’ll first start with some community testing and move onto our LBRY.tv mailing list which includes anything that signed up for it over the past few months. If all goes well, LBRY.tv should be ready for a full launch in a few weeks.
